A free hunt through this site, the channel and the feed. Thirteen doors across two territories — the scraplines of the Few and the pale halls of the Accord — and the thing under both of them: Crownroot. Three steps to get going.

1 SIGN YOUR NAME

It gets stamped on every record you recover. Do this first.

2 OPEN THE VAULT

The vault is your tracker: thirteen slots, one per door. Every mark you find gets logged there — and logging it is what opens the next door.

3 FIND DOOR 1

Door 1 hides on the vault page itself — a faint spark right beside the title Find the 13. Tap it. Each door hands you a mark shaped WORD-1234.

What the vault wants

  • Thirteen marks, each shaped WORD-1234. Log them at the vault.
  • They are scattered across this site, the channel, and the feed — in images, in sound, in a single frame.
  • Every mark you log recovers a record from Return Refused — the novel this shop is built around. Stamp it with your name and share it from the records page.
  • The manifest lives on this machine. To carry it to another, use TRANSFER at the vault.
ACT I — THE FEW
Salvage, cable, lime. Whatever can be dragged out of the Scar. Doors 1–4.
ACT II — THE ACCORD
Everything corrected. Nothing kept. Doors 5–8.
ACT III — CROWNROOT
The roots give back only what you carried in. Doors 9–13.

Before you go down

  • Bring a desktop if you can. A phone will get you through every door, but a few are easier on a bigger screen.
  • Write things down. You never know what will matter later.
  • Team up if you want — share the journey, not the answers.
  • No time limits. Start anytime. Take breaks. Come back fresh.
What is held for you: a thing that was never stocked, and a last transmission. Both wait at 13/13.
Field notes
  • Pictures carry names and captions the eye skips. Open them on their own.
  • Chapters on YouTube can hide acrostics. Instagram captions can hide ciphers.
  • Sometimes the browser tab, headers, or “UI-looking” bits are part of the game.
