About
Jako13 wasn’t born out of some grand vision board, brand strategy meeting, or late-night “aha” moment. It came from my gamer tag. That’s it. I needed a name for a brand, and instead of pretending I was creative, I just dusted off the same handle I’ve been using online since I was a kid. Congratulations—you’re on a website named after my teenage Counterstrike identity.
I’ve been a fan of drifting for a long time—long enough to make way too much content that nobody really asked for. Videos with five views? Check. Blogs no one read? Double check. Podcasts with more awkward pauses than listeners? Absolutely. But here’s the thing—I just kept showing up. Year after year, event after event, refusing to go away until, eventually, Formula Drift got tired of ignoring me and gave me a microphone. Now, somehow, I’m the Technical Announcer for the series. Persistence pays off… or maybe they just ran out of options.
That same spirit is what Jako13 is about. There’s no slick corporate mission statement here. The brand exists to sell hats. Maybe shirts. Maybe other random stuff down the line. Who knows? It’s not about pretending to be the next streetwear empire—it’s about having fun, supporting the drift community I love, and making sure you’ve got something decent to wear on your head.
So if you pick up a beanie, you’re not just buying merch—you’re joining in on the ongoing joke that somehow refusing to leave turned into a job, a brand, and now this store. Thanks for being part of it.
